How Do I Make An Appointment?
Access to Doctor and Clinical Staff is by appointment. Please telephone the surgery. It may be necessary to ask a few questions, to assess the urgency of the problem, A Nurse or Healthcare Asssitant may be able to help you. A Pharmacist can deal with minor ailments and assist with prescription requests.
You will need to inform the Receptionist on arrival.
Please remember that appointments are for ONE person only. If you feel your consultation may be lengthy, ask the Receptionist for a DOUBLE APPOINTMENT when you book.
Please try to attend appointments on time or to give the practice adequate notice that they wish to cancel (minim 48 hours) – lateness or non-attendance inconveniences other people and wastes appointment time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, you will have to wait until the end of surgery or reschedule the appointment. .
If you have missed your appointments 3 times or more, you next appointment can only be booked with the discretion of the Practice Manager or the doctor or you will be asked to meet the Doctor or Practice Manager. Please treat your doctor and their staff as you would expect to be treated by them – with respect and politeness.
